POSITION PROFILE

Performs activities associated with the samples dept. product receiving, stock replenishments, production material cutting and setup at the Distribution Center. Participates in various areas of Distribution Center sampling operation.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties may include some or all the following. This position requires standing 6-8 hours per day while using machinery, tools – and in repetitive motions.

Gather equipment and supplies necessary to verify material quality and quantity by checking paperwork.
Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment including textile-cutting machines to cut material safely and accurately for the sampling production dept.
Match NAV and WMS orders to actual merchandise for accuracy of work.
Process all ordered material for the production dept.
Lead the new launch projects to meet all quality and time deadlines.
Adhere to HOLLY HUNT textiles and leather quality inspections with gaining the understanding of various textiles/leather thickness, width, and finishes.
Work closely with the Samples Production Supervisor to lead the daily production and new launch related activities.
Any other tasks as assigned.

SAFETY

Dispose of trash, empty boxes, straps, broken pallets, and other debris necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
Operate all warehouse equipment in a safe and orderly manner.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Minimize inventory and product loss by measuring, handling, and storing merchandise properly.
Inform management of unsafe conditions and acts and follow all “Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
Maintain a clean environment.

POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Adheres to all company and Distribution Center policies and procedures, including attendance, quality, and safety guidelines.

The foregoing tasks, duties and responsibilities need to be performed in a timely manner, to meet the everyday operating need of the Distribution Center.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to continuously move and lift 70 + LB and occasionally move up to 100 LB load.
Ability to lift and move bulky (within the weight limit) merchandise on a regular basis.
Ability to stock and retrieve merchandise from various heights, ranging from the floor level up to the ceiling of the Distribution Center.
Ability to use PC with Microsoft Office and company ERP systems.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment as stated above.
Ability to work in a non-airconditioned environment.
Ability to work overtime or varying shifts based on business needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required.
