Our mission is to empower our associates in elevating our members shopping experience in the club. Our portfolio spans all associate tools for curbside pickup and delivery from club, inventory management, fresh production with café and bakery, tire and battery center, member service at the desk, self and assisted checkouts and many more. We are the team behind some of Sam's Club's most innovative experiences, including new post-checkout Exit experience , inventory management automation , Ask Sam - a chatbot app to answer any associate questions. We proudly serve as a key driver of innovation within Sam's Club.About the RoleThe Director, UX Design role at Sam's Club is a critical strategic role. This leader will be part of creating the comprehensive design strategy to grow and evolve our retail experiences at the intersection of digital and physical. In addition to being a thought partner to our business, engineering, and product partners, this leader will help set the standards for consumer grade tools and experiences for our associates across 600 Sam's Club stores. This role includes leadership, hands-on design and design direction, and growth of a team of designers in this area.In this role, you will employ your depth of knowledge designing enterprise apps and service design for digital and physical to make the complex simple, clear, and trusted. With your strong team of world-class designers, you'll test your excellent designs with real-world end users to learn and iterate better.You'll bring your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and product design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to the wider team.
