Hybrid Remote Healthcare Claims Manager

Sandstone Care, a leading healthcare company providing comprehensive treatment for teens and young adults, is seeking a Senior Healthcare Billing Claims Specialist to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health and substance use issues.

Skills

Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
Strong PC and application skills
High volume work handling with speed and accuracy
Negotiation skills with insurance companies
Understanding of contract language for billing scenarios

Responsibilities

Follow up on unpaid or rejected insurance claims for assigned carriers
Handle the appeals process for rejected claims
Monitor accounts receivable and daily bank balancing
Maintain accurate documentation of all claim activities
Communicate with clients, providers, and internal teams on claim status and resolution

Education

At least one year of hands-on experience in medical billing
