Program Manager

What's the Short Version?

The Program Manager ensures that all aspects of the program are completed in alignment with agreed-upon strategies, timelines and budgets. The Program Manager is the internal owner and driver of a wide variety of projects and initiatives within the department. They are responsible for the workflow and assignment of each project from inception to completion. This position works in close partnership with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that all projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.

 

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Oversee and evolve all aspects of the program, including budget, vendors, schedules, and project management.
  • Analyze workflow, establish priorities, develop deadlines, and other critical duties to support systems and/or programs operations.
  • Function as the project team facilitator, guiding the team through the project in adherence to the schedule and requirements.
  • Direct the discovery and scope of requests to create projects, schedules, tasks and workflows.
  • Interface with key internal and external business partners and other cross-functional departments in the development and execution of program initiatives.
  • Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems ensuring all projects remain on track.
  • Communicate and document program quality outcomes and progress metrics.
  • Review and document distribution processes; drive process improvement.

 

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience.
  • 4-6 years of project management experience.
  • Extremely well organized with a proven history in coordinating multi-element projects within multiple programs.
  • Ability to accept criticism and perform with professionalism and accuracy under pressure.
  • Ability to lead meetings, work independently, prioritize and handle multiple deadlines, and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Highly collaborative approach that ensures all stakeholders input and engagement throughout the project. Attain necessary approvals to move projects to the next level.
  • Proven history of excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to effectively supervise, train and manage junior level staff.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organized and self-motivated.

 

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $100,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience.

 

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

 

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.

SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
