The L&D Program Manager and PE Facilitator will create, administer and (as needed) facilitate CX Academy programs and curriculum for all Gusties. This role will also empower a team of specialized facilitators who deliver role-based training to CX Gusties. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the development and continued maintenance of Gusto - wide curriculum covering content in the talent and leadership development space.

The position is full-time and based in Denver.


Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:


  • Develop and maintain CX Academy curriculum to consistently improve and evolve our programs as we grow and scale the business.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of facilitators who specialize in role-based training for several CX teams
  • Ensure all training programs are developed, delivered, and measured in accordance with agreed learning & development design principles. 
  • Design and develop new virtual training, instructor-led training, and supplemental learning tools.
  • Responsible for the administration required to ensure programs run successfully. Partnering with learning operations to ensure LMS administration, program marketing, facility and materials administration.
  • Develop metrics and monitor impact of L&D activities to ensure effectiveness of delivery to the business and return on investment of all training.
  • Conduct needs analysis and evaluate effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Create learning content in the LMS and eLearning design platforms to build a robust blended learning experience.


Here’s what we're looking for:


  • 3-5 years of experience in learning & development, facilitation, learning program management
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team
  • Experience facilitating with virtual training platforms (Zoom, AdobeConnect, Webex Training Center)
  • Experience using LMS, LXP, eLearning design tools
  • Experience designing and building large scale learning programs
  • Experience managing program logistics (tracking participation, materials, scheduling, etc.)
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and changing schedules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a warm presence that puts people at ease
  • Can operate autonomously with little supervision
  • Know how to introduce fun and creativity into any activity
  • Are scrappy and not afraid to roll your sleeves up to get the job done


Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $100,000 - $115,000/year in Denver. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
