The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager for Virtual Device Cloud at Sauce Labs, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of key products within our portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet customer needs and support the company's overall strategy. You’ll be a key decision-maker in shaping product direction and will mentor and guide other product managers.

Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and long-term strategy to stakeholders and team members.
  • Lead market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Align product strategy with overall business goals, ensuring product efforts drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

Product Roadmap Ownership:

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, balancing short-term opportunities with long-term strategic priorities.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, market demands, and business objectives.
  • Make strategic decisions about product scope, investment, and trade-offs in collaboration with senior leadership.

Product Development Leadership:

  • Work closely with engineering, design, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Lead product discovery processes, including user research, market validation, and prototyping.
  • Define and document detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications for features and functionality.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, leadership, and development teams.
  • Effectively communicate product plans, status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset across the organization, advocating for end-user needs and experiences.

Performance Measurement & Optimization:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product success and business impact.
  • Lead post-launch analysis to assess performance, gather feedback, and prioritize improvements.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to continuously iterate and optimize product features and customer experiences.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Mentor and guide junior product managers, sharing knowledge and providing feedback to improve their performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.
  • Support the product team in implementing best practices, refining processes, and adopting new tools or methodologies.

Risk Management & Problem Solving:

  • Anticipate risks or challenges during product development and work proactively to resolve issues.
  • Manage trade-offs between features, quality, and timelines to maintain a healthy balance in the product delivery process.
  • Ensure products comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 5-7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Experience managing Mobile products/solutions is a must.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches and managing complex product portfolios.
  • Business acumen along with technical expertise to enable complete cradle to grave lifecycle management of product portfolio.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and leading cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • Product management experience supporting Developer Tools or Infrastructure is preferred 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Expertise in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Productboard).
  • Ability to work with high-level stakeholders and lead strategic discussions.
  • Familiarity with user experience design, A/B testing, and product analytics.

We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building. As a result, Saucers located near an office location must be able and willing to come into the office. Those hired remotely must be able and willing to travel to an office as required by the specific role.

Your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, along with its relationship to the base salaries of current team members at Sauce Labs that are similarly situated.
