Senior Front-end Engineer (AMS)

Role Overview: We are seeking for a resourceful Senior Front-end Software Engineer that will implement new products and features end-to-end together with our designers, product managers and other engineers. As a Senior Front-end Engineer you are not only responsible for delivering high-quality code but also for fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within your team. Your work impacts both the technical quality of the product and the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing brand new features and visualization end to end while ensuring quality through rigorous testing and other quality assurance practices.

  • Work together with the team in setting up engineering best practices like code reviews, monitoring, unit testing, consistent code structure and modularization for reusability.

  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Stakeholders and other Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that delight our customers. 

  • Ensuring our platform maintains a seamless and responsive design by leveraging our Design System and working with Designers to extend it where necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or otherwise proven experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent.

  • Experience in writing front-end applications using TypeScript/Javascript and CSS.

  • Experience in some of the following frameworks: Vue.js/Svelte/Angular/React, Vite/Webpack, Tailwind CSS and ECharts.

  • Experience in working with and instrumenting web-metrics, monitoring and performance analytics systems.

  • Ability to translate design wireframes and prototypes into functional web pages.

  • Ability to communicate & collaborate effortlessly and proactively with technical and non-technical colleagues.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in working with and leveraging Design Systems is a plus.
