As the People Coordinator you will have the opportunity to be mentored and learn from a team of Training and Talent Acquisition professionals as you begin your career. The People Coordinator shows a strong interest in the field of Human Resources and brings strong interpersonal skills. You will interact with our candidates to ensure a smooth transition from recruiting to onboarding as new employees begin their career at SchoolStaus. As an effective multi-tasker and organizer, you will assist with job postings, own the candidate experience through onboarding scheduling and facilitation, and other talent related projects.

 

The impact you'll have:


  • Talent Acquisition
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment related projects to increase candidate pipeline by completing research projects, identifying networking opportunities, and utilizing social media to share our open positions
  • Interact with candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle including scheduling all interviews to facilitating the onsite interview process, ensuring a high-touch experience
  • Support employment brand initiatives to build awareness and create a positive employment brand/image for SchoolStatus
  • Talent Development
  • Work closely with various departments to facilitate the onboarding process, including IT setup, access to training material
  • Ensure training sessions are successful through event facilitation including booking rooms, food and beverage, IT setup, and materials
  • Assist with creation of training materials such as presentations and user guides 
  • Create training assessments and surveys using tools such as Survey Monkey; Summarize responses to distribute information to appropriate parties
  • People Operations
  • Administrator for our HRIS systems, which includes adding new hires, maintaining employee records, processing employee updates, monthly reporting, and first level employee navigation support
  • Manage the accurate completion of I-9 forms, including processing through E-Verify, for all new hires
  • Own the process of sending employee gifts to commemorate significant life events, including weddings, condolences, and the birth of a child
  • Assist in the administration and configuration of systems related to performance management, employee engagement, etc.


What you'll bring:


  • A willingness to learn and support the team in a variety of tasks
  • Strong interest in the field of Human Resources
  • Proven detail-oriented approach when tackling tasks is a must
  • Self-motivated, strong sense of urgency to be utilized while multitasking
  • Flexibility to adjust to ever-change priorities
  • Proactive, can-do attitude, and a willingness to be a continuous learner
  • Strong level of comfort with various social media outlets
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across all business units and geographic locations
  • Familiar with Google Apps and/or Microsoft Office preferred
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System or HRIS system is a plus
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

U.S. Pay Range


$50,000—$65,000 USD


Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate, and is provided pursuant to Equal Pay Laws. SchoolStatus intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience. Our team will provide more information about the total compensation package for this position during the interview process.
