Senior .Net Developer

About the role:

SwagUp is looking for a Senior .Net Developer. We encourage you to have and share your opinions, and to accelerate our development efforts with hands-on expertise. We need someone who is an expert in backend .Net development, who also has a solid understanding of frontend languages as well. Developing REST APIs will be central to this role as our key initiative is to build a customer facing API to design and deliver Swag. This individual will need to understand what it takes to support an environment based on event driven architecture. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned senior developer looking to take the lead and build something few get the chance to build.

What you'll do:

• Play a major role in helping to build out the development team with additional developers
• Take on the opportunity to have a lot of influence in how SwagUp “does” engineering
• Determine, design, and build individual .Net micro-services to support SwagUp’s customer portal (website), and help build applications for all areas of the company - shipping. fulfillment, and marketing systems.
• Help to build customer facing API to design & deliver Swag

About you:

• 6+ years of experience in full stack C# .Net development
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field or comparable experience
• Heavy backend development experience with REST APIs
• Solid knowledge of frontend development in React or Angular
• Experience with fault-tolerant, event-driven systems (publish & subscribe systems, messaging and queuing systems - both for internal systems to communicate and customer systems/applications to communicate)
• Proven deep technical knowledge and experience in micro-service design, development, deployment and maintenance

Preferred Skills:

• Domain-driven development and/or other architectural disciplines
• Experience in e-commerce systems and/or companies that produce physical products for customers
• Experience with coding in Salesforce
