Senior Full-Stack Developer- UI Focused - Hybrid

As UI lead, design and implement User Interface of the applications. Coordinate with other teams, including overseas development team, on Sprint tasks. Engage and lead discussion with UX team on validating UX design. Work with team to understand the requirements and come up with effective design and solutions. Break down development efforts into pieces of work that fit in a Sprint. Produce quality code, perform unit tests, and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5
• Must have 3-5 years of strong experience developing applications using React framework, Redux store and Backbone JS
• Must have good understanding of REST APIs and its usage
• Good experience in UI Development with ability to deliver the needed UI design and functionality to stakeholders
• Experience in UI Prototyping and Responsive Design – Very visual – everyone likes UI and has much to say – prototyping is important when you’re throwing out new ideas – quick developing without a whole lot of code – just to see how it could work.
• Ability to write highly reusable and scalable code for UI components
• Should have excellent debugging and analytical reasoning skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicatev thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
• Fluency in English in order to communicate with external and internal stakeholders
• Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies
• Good project management skills
• Must be able to travel to Bakersfield, CA 1-2 times per year - otherwise role is remote

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
