Senior Line Producer

Reporting into the Executive Producer of Original Content, you will be VEVO's senior production manager working across all of our music content and editorial shoots of varying scale, from shoots within our owned studios to bespoke on location productions across the U.S. Our original content team is dedicated, creatively excellent, single minded and hospitable to all who through the doors of our company. 

Ideally, you’ve either been at a television network or a production company as a line producer for at least 8 years. From treatment ideation to budget reconciliation you and your team will be the collaborative partners working alongside our team of creative producers producing everything that VEVO shoots internally.

You will not only tell us how exactly we can levitate a drum kit, but how long it will take, how to do it under budget and why the camera we currently have spec’d isn’t the best choice. You know the perfect vendor or person to solve a production related issue. Your network is vast and your bridges burnt are few. This is a full-time position and is based in New York City.

As a team member you will:

• Report overall line breakdown of all Original Content projects
• Work with EP to establish base costs of Official Live Performances and Extended Play projects ahead of label and artist pitches, with budgets ranging from $100K-$500K
• Provide creative solutions to treatment execution in the pre production process
• Manage and work with external production companies to build comprehensive project budgets for EP approval
• Oversee all line production on set, including VEVO line producers as well as external production company line producers
• Develop strong relationships with all our internal legal and finance teams on behalf of the Original Content team
• Manage and develop two line producers who report into this position
• Partner with the post supervisor to ensure on budget delivery of content to each endpoint

Requirements:

• 8+ years of proven experience working as a creative content producer
• 8+ years of proven experience managing, cost tracking and actualizing a multi million dollar production budget at a television network, ad agency or an entertainment studio
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, and on short notice
• Previous people management experience
• Previous experience managing budgets ranging up to $500K
• Previous experience managing the operations of a production studio

The pay range for this position is: $100k - $110k per year. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Transparency Law.

This is a full-time position based on-site/in our New York Headquarters. Vevo currently operates in a hybrid work model and requires all employees, who have not been designated as "remote" to be in the office/studio a minimum of 3 days a week.
