About Us: At Bizly, we're on a mission to transform the events industry. We're already a market leader in enterprise event management and now we're launching an AI-powered platform that enables anyone to book extraordinary in-person events. We're looking for a dynamic and creative Director of Marketing to focus on three core north stars for the business:
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Define and improve our bottom-up customer acquisition cost (CAC):
- Pioneering innovative experimentation strategies to achieve a low Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) through bottom-up customer acquisition methods.
- Optimize the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints for efficient lead generation and conversion.
- Leveraging data-driven insights to constantly refine and iterate marketing campaigns around improving our CAC/LTV ratio.
2. Bizly Brand Refinement:
- Leading the strategic refinement of the Bizly brand, enhancing its resonance and relevance in the market.
- Exploring potential re-branding and/or re-naming initiatives to further align with our evolving mission and vision.
- Overseeing the execution of the brand, from ideation to implementation of design systems and messaging.
- Executing the brand through social, digital, and in-person activations.
3. Content and Lead Generation for our Enterprise Business:
- Orchestrating the creation of high-quality content, including white papers, articles, case studies, newsletter, and regular product updates
- Developing and executing lead generation strategies that cultivate meaningful connections with our enterprise clients.
- Owning PR and event activations for the Company
- Co-developing sales scripts, sales playbooks, email campaigns, and other collateral as needed by the sales team.
- Collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff and conversion of marketing-generated leads into loyal customers.
Qualifications:
- Hard-working, dedicated, and mission-driven.
- Scrappy and entrepreneurial; can get things done well without large budgets and big teams
- High bar and sharp eye for excellence in design and branding.
- Deep understanding and experience with product marketing
- A proven track record of driving experimentation-driven growth, reducing CAC through innovative customer acquisition strategies.
- Extensive experience in branding.
- Proficiency in generating engaging content for enterprise audiences and leveraging it for lead generation.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to guide strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, enabling autonomous problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
