The Opportunity

Gentrack UK are currently hiring a Senior PMO covering the UK and the growth pipeline into Europe. This is an exceptional opportunity for an amazing Senior PMO to join a world class global R&D team focussed on Delivering Tomorrow Today.

Role Specifics

• Building from ground up a PMO function within our R&D team which drives our move to Sustainable, Profitable and Repeatable NPI on a global basis
• Owning and driving an effective programme governance model ensuring consistent ways of working across team without slowing our hard charging drive to delivery on time and in budget.
• Training of Project and SW managers in the disciplines of effective use Program Office and Tools to transform operational delivery to new heights
• Updating and administering the programme plan as required using reports from Project Managers and the outcomes of project and programme meetings and workshops
• Building up a repository of project documentation both technical and management to support the Legacy Networks Closure Programme Team
• Managing communications from all mediums including regular reporting cycle requests. Creation of internal and external reports- Standardised reporting for testing and quality across the regions
• Governance and reporting: Organisation of the governance meeting forums allowing regular and transparent
• Provide objective, thorough and data-driven recommendations to leadership to improve program delivery
• Overall governance of the Programme RAID log and RASCI maitrix; ensuring it is continuously maintained and updated by contributors.
• Finance: Tracking of internal resource engagement (T&M) recording and validating cost and price
• Act as the single point of contact to own and drive requests for Program information.
• Configuration: Responsible for the document management structure, including version control, folder layout, delegated ownership, and archiving
• Other administration activities as required to ensure project & operational excellence
• Applying appropriate portfolio, programme and project management methodologies and tools.
• Ensuring effective baselining and scope change management.

What you'll have:

• 6+ years of experience working as a Project Management Officer working on projects of various sizes and budgets.
• Significant experience of working in a project/program/portfolio management environment in program manager Programme Officer Manager
• Passionate about continuous improvement - identify opportunities to improve project execution.
• experience of working on large scale global programs to deliver ARR based SW products in a composable Architect
• Excel in challenging positions – cool under pressure
• Experienced in managing multiple critical programmes simultaneously.
• Be able to communicate and showcase value of previous projects.
• Production of Steering Committee reports and Managing expectations of stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with governance framework and assurance of RAID items.

Other helpful skills:

• Understanding of the energy industry, including key companies.
• Experience working in tech or for a software vendor.
