Technical Consultant - Junior

As a Veovo Technical Consultant, you will be passionate about technology and how it can be utilised to deliver value-based outcomes for innovative airports globally. You will foster collaboration between Veovo and our airport subject matter experts, and across the wider airport stakeholder environment.

Our team deploys and supports Veovo solutions across a diverse range of Airports in either traditional waterfall or modern agile environments. Performing a broad range of activity, you will assist in delivering a methodical approach to problem definition and resolution.

Primarily you will assist in the capture and understanding of airport requirements through workshop and observational sessions, and contribute to the build, configuration, and integration of Veovo solutions to achieve brilliant quantifiable results. To provide the best customer experience you will also be involved in ongoing relationship building and the support of implemented Veovo solutions, providing technical delivery expertise as required.

Our solutions are built in a range of modern technologies that you will be exposed to within your analysis, implementation and customer success responsibilities.

We are a tight-knit team and we will encourage you to be an active participant in all respects of our operation. You will undertake specific Market, Product and Technology training to enable you to hit the ground running, and this process will be supported by your team and Manager on an ongoing basis.

As this is a customer-centric airport technology role, and our business is within the global airport market, a reasonable level of travel may be required.

In this role you can expect to be:

• Analyse customer or new product requirements and specification writing
• Implementation of Veovo products and solutions
• Provide customer training
• Programming of software modifications and development of deployment-specific integration and configuration
• Technical documentation of deployed solutions and user documentation
• Be a positive influential force for technical best practice within the team.
• Accurate and timely recording of timesheets and charging of services time
• Promotion of the value and benefits of Veovo solutions to existing and new airport customers
• Assist and support customer success by effectively handling assigned service tickets or requests as raised by airport customers
• To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.

What you need to be successful:

• +1 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to understand and communicate technical and business concepts
• Ability to collaborate and build strong product delivered solutions
• Technical and programming skills in one or more of the following:
  • Database scripting languages (i.e. MSSQL T-SQL / Oracle PLSQL)
  • C# .NET
  • JavaScript and Angular framework
• Proven ability to learn when exposed to new technologies
• Demonstrate coding best practise against industry coding standards
• Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies
• Capable of using standard desktop software packages
• Personal responsibility and the ability to work in a team or autonomously
• Experience in the Airport / Airport Technology sector would be useful
