Senior Product Manager, Multimodal

If so, nice to meet you! We are Loadsmart and we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our carrier products group. We are a growth-stage start-up technology company valued at over $1 billion (a tech unicorn), led by a leadership team of logistics veterans and experienced engineers, product leaders and data scientists continuing to disrupt this $800 billion industry.

You will work on our carrier products squad, building out our digital drayage solutions platform. In this role, you will be addressing market opportunities and delivering innovative drayage solutions that give visibility, efficiency and predictability over the transport of imported containerized cargo. You will be responsible for supporting partnerships, defining your product's vision, strategy, and roadmap execution, launching those products in the market. You will work closely with business development, sales, design, and engineering.

LOCATION: Remote - Anywhere US based

Understand ocean freight, port and rail terminal operations, and discover opportunities to leverage technology and partnerships to drive efficiencies.
Understand drayage shippers’ needs around pricing, scheduling and visibility, ensuring our solutions generate value for these customers.
Dive deeply into the drayage carriers’ experience, especially around transportation execution, ensuring our solutions provide efficiency and profitability to their businesses.
Develop your product's vision, strategy, and roadmap to address these customers’ needs and generate value for Loadsmart.
Leverage partnerships with port operators, visibility providers, and other tech partners to enhance the value of our digital drayage platform and provide more comprehensive solutions to our customers.
Work with multiple opportunities from discovery to delivery and launch, including defining go-to-market strategies that aligned with the defined vision and strategy.
Work closely with our drayage sales teams to launch the products to new and existing customers.

You have experience:

Proven track record of managing products across the whole product development life cycle, from discovery to launch.
Strong knowledge of drayage operations and digital drayage solutions.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with numbers, skilled data manipulator.
Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and efficiently when dealing with different stakeholders in order to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
