Our Senior Program Managers lead product programs and initiatives across the division from concept to market. We align product, engineering, and business teams to exceed the expectations of our customers. We are relied on by leaders across the organization to execute on critical programs with high business impact.

Partner with the best

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects and developing processes that enable us to measure and improve performance resulting in improved customer satisfaction.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and organizing product-centric programs at the organization level, across multiple groups.
  • Identifying, assessing and mitigating risks arising from a variety of situations including those that arise from dependencies between groups.
  • Deploying product roadmap solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Participating in, refining, and materially leading the Product Process for various products and solutions.
  • Leading the full software development lifecycle and release process for various development teams and software releases.
  • Using project management methodologies and best practices to ensure the successful delivery of products, projects, and releases.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8 years of experience and a Bachelor in program/project management or its equivalent.
  • Possess experience in Identifying and managing project dependencies while maintaining accurate project plans with real-time milestones.
  • Demonstrate experience with program and project management principles and practices, PMP certificates or Big 5 Consulting experience
  • Have experience with business process, operations, and metric definition best practices.
  • Be experienced with Risk and Issue management and resolution.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $102,973 - $154,614/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
