Senior Project Manager – Workplace

CallisonRTKL seeks a Senior Project Manager with extensive project management experience to join its Workplace practice. The position is focused on managing Workplace Interiors projects, focusing as a regional account lead for a major technology company in the San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate for this position will be a strong communicator, organized, detailed-oriented, and self-starting/driven to succeed. Candidate must currently be located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay/Silicon Valley area.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and manages the project process for multiple concurrent Workplace Interiors projects
• Manages client expectations, client and team communications, and consultant coordination
• Serves as the main contributor and facilitator during client meetings and presentations
• Participates in interviews for projects
• Negotiates critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties
• Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations
• Oversees financial management of all assigned projects
• Develops proposals, project financial plans, and schedules
• Supports business development and marketing efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 15+ years of related experience with a focus in corporate interiors
• Professional registration or certification required
• Proficient with Revit
• Ability to produce and direct work
• Strong technical background that includes design sense with interiors projects
• Experience with contract negotiations and project financial planning and scheduling
• Solid working knowledge of building codes
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently manage multiple project efforts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to executive level leaders
• Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills, and ability to interface with clients and employees
• Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
