Who Were Looking For

Were looking for someone who can positively interact with our customers as well as other employees. The Senior Recovery Specialist will be responsible for the collection of past due accounts as assigned in a fast-paced goal orientated call center environment. Candidates should be self-motivated, effective communicators, excellent negotiators and have the ability to navigate sensitive situations.

On a Typical Day, You'll

• Recover payments of delinquent accounts through outbound and inbound calls
• Retain system knowledge and company process to thoroughly and accurately work accounts
• Exercise excellent negotiation skills
• Conduct skip tracing searches to be performed when relevant to the collection of past due accounts

Base Pay Rate:

$11.54/hour + 22% of commissions on balances collected.

Bonuses are based on individual fees recovered and paid individually on a monthly basis:

1st Level $7,500 in fees collected = $500

2nd Level $10,000 in fees collected = $750

Required Skills

• Professional in appearance and demeanor
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Skip tracing abilities
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to maintain excellent attendance record
• Thorough and detail oriented
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Must type a minimum of 40 WPM

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience with third-party collections
• Must pass the ACA Professional Collections Specialist Exam
• Bi-Lingual is a plus

Stuff You Should Know

• Department hours are:
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
• This position is fully remote
• On-going training and the opportunity to obtain the ACA Collector certification will be provided.
• Training program will provide the skills to perform this job and ongoing compliance training will be provided
