Senior Sales Order Administrator
The Senior Sales Order Administrator is responsible for all areas related to sales order processing of compliant purchase orders, per the Sarbanes Oxley Process Narrative. This Senior Sales Order Administrator will work cross functionally with multiple departments to carry out routine and non-routine order processing activities.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

Log Purchase Orders (PO) in Salesforce and reply to customer acknowledging PO receipt

Help process orders received from domestic and international partners, ensuring all backup is provided and accurate to comply with SOX controls in place prior to booking

Responsible for processing orders in Oracle modules and ensuring support certifications and licenses are sent out via the automated programs (Oracle-GLM)

Work with the Shipping Team to ensure POs are shipped prior to or within the required dates

Assist with order corrections in Order Management and Service Contract modules once necessary approvals have been obtained from Finance and Sales Ops

Continual updates on shipment ETAs to internal and external key personnel

Respond to A10 Customer contacts who inquire about their order in a timely and efficient manner and always interact positively and professionally

Identify process gaps and design solutions to improve operational efficiency

Periodic weekend or evening work is expected for the month end close
Experience, Education, Training, Traits:

Bachelor’s degree or related experience
-
4-5 years' experience in Order Administration/Customer Service role

This position is located at our corporate Headquarters in San Jose, California

Strong verbal and written communications skills are required

Strong knowledge of accessing and using MS Office tools

Required working experience using SFDC and Oracle

Dependable, organized, detail-oriented and the ability to work under pressure

Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance is a plus

Preferred experience with global bookings and government rated orders

Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and smoothly integrate them into day-to-day responsibilities

Demonstrate ability to draw upon experience and limited information to come to logical conclusions and sound judgments
Ability to quickly adapt to changes resulting from a dynamic and growing business environment
