Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced workplace strategist to join our team in New York City. Versatility is key to the success of this role, as this individual will lead our client-facing work in the region and contribute consistently to business development on behalf of the studio and the broader firm. This individual will conceive of and facilitate user engagements, develop strategic guidelines and recommendations, generate space budgets, administer, and synthesize workplace surveys, and manage a variety of change management programs.
Much of Ark’s work is embedded within the interior design and architectural practice of HLW. However, as an independent studio we also actively pursue standalone consulting projects. In addition to client work, a Senior Workplace Strategist is asked to contribute to a variety of internal efforts and initiatives that advance Ark’s position as an evidence-based practice and help us evolve.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting Structure
This position will report to the Managing Director of Ark. Over time, an alternative reporting structure may be determined based on current studio structure or project workload.

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000-$125,000. We will consider relevant experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors in determining compensation.
