GTM Compensation Analyst

The GTM Commission Analyst will oversee the sales commission process at SEON. This role involves analyzing commission data, ensuring the accuracy of commission calculations, and working closely with the Revenue Operations, Finance and People teams to develop effective commission structures aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

This role offers flexibility and will be based in Budapest with a hybrid schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Commission Calculation & Analysis
    • Accurately calculate, validate, and process quarterly, and annual sales commissions based on sales performance and established plans.
    • Perform detailed analyses on commission structures to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and recommend adjustments.
    • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Finance, and People to ensure alignment of commissions with company objectives.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
    • Generate and distribute regular commission reports to GTM leadership, highlighting performance against targets and earnings.
    • Assist in forecasting commission expenses and developing predictive models to aid in budgeting and financial planning.
    • Provide regular but also ad-hoc analysis to management to offer insights into commission-related trends and performance metrics.
  • Commission Plan Administration
    • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of commission plans that motivate the sales force and align with company goals.
    • Document commission policies and procedures, ensuring that they are clearly communicated to relevant teams
  • Compliance & Audit Support
    • Ensure commission calculations are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Support audit processes by preparing commission records, resolving audit inquiries, and maintaining documentation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Finance, HR, and Sales leaders to ensure that commission processes are streamlined and efficient.
    • Collaborate with IT and Revenue Operations to enhance and maintain commission software and tools, ensuring accuracy in commission calculations.
    • Provide training and support to GTM teams on commission plans, calculation methods, and policies.

WHAT YOU’ll BRING:

  • 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Compensation, Financial / Data Analysis, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of sales metrics and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with commission software (e.g., Everstage) and CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex data insights to non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
