Job Description

  • Part of Release Engineering team release engineer need to work on pipelines, working on the requirements of our business and how these are best served by continuous improvements to our Release/Delivery approach.       
  • Brings development and e2e SDLC best processes, people and tools closer together to increase the speed, efficiency and quality with which we deliver optimize solutions to our business. 
  • Execute/validate existing Deployment Pipeline; the set of technical and business assurance activities that support the transition of application services from development through to production.
  • Partner closely with all major business functions across the organisation and work collaboratively with Product team, application DEV/QE teams, and Change Management team.    
  • Create crisp and complete documentation to all new features and pipelines that are developed and get them reviewed.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle etc., preferably in cloud environment.·        

  • A good understanding of how software delivery is typically organized and the role that it plays within a large company.
  • Strong general knowledge of continuous integration platforms, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, application release automation tools, IaaS and PaaS technologies etc.   
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently as well in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Collaborating with people across widely varying levels and roles like stakeholders, Dev, Ops team, Change and admin teams.
  • Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Able to work on the adoption of e2e SDLC process across the organisation.
