Inventory Associate

Allentown, PA Full-Time

At Ship Hero we make it easy to manage eCommerce logistics in more ways than one. Our proprietary Warehouse Management Software (WMS) allows our customers to run an efficient warehouse and fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately. Our fulfillment division operates our own warehouses providing fulfillment services for brands across the US and Canada.

We are looking for an Inventory Associate who will be part of the inventory department in Allentown. This department is responsible for the proper unloading of inbound trucks, verifying and inspecting products for damages or discrepancies, performing routine cycle counts, slotting and locating inventory within the warehouse and Management System (WMS), recording and inspecting returned products, and ensuring the fulfillment team has product available for picking and shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Count, verify, and inspect new inventory.
• Communicate with lead on any damages, discrepancies, or delays.
• Update product profiles (Weights, Dims, barcodes, etc.) within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Process, inspect, record, and report returned inventory.
• Revising warehouse locations and moving inventory per velocity demands.
• Put back inventory that has been removed from shelves but not shipped.
• Identify locations within the warehouse and WMS for slotting of new inventory.
• Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Pull inventory from overstock for pickable replenishment.
• Assist with additional projects as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 2 (two) years inventory experience.
• Minimum 1 (one) year forklift experience (Electric Stand up, LPG Sit down) with a clean record.
• SKILLS:
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate.
• Critical analysis of proper counting and reporting
• Familiar with shipping systems and inventory systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and overall computer familiarity.
• Self-motivated and goal orientated.
