Job Description

The Quality Manager is responsible for driving a quality culture in an Aerospace organization and ensuring compliance to customer and industry requirements. This position is the primary contact with customers on quality related topics, as well as the voice of quality within the Company. The Quality Manager is accountable for establishing and executing plan to achieve Company Quality Metrics (Zero Nonconforming Product, First Pass Yield, Scrap % Sales, Final Product Rejections) The Quality Manager will manage personnel in the following:

  • Manage team of Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineer(s)
  • Ensuring shipped products meets all customer requirements
  • Completion of First Article Inspection
  • Maintenance of KPC compliance

The Quality Manager will be responsible for daily tasks including:

  • Being the Customer Interface including new initiatives and investigations
  • Working on Quality continuous improvement projects
  • Asking deeper questions to ensure root cause – Mistake Proofing • Supporting compliance of special processes
  • Meeting customer and industry compliance Culture
  • Exhibit behavior that is in keeping with Kreisler’s culture and values.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards the company, job function, customers, suppliers and fellow employees
  • Take pride in the product quality, workspace cleanliness, and organization
  • Be respectful of others and our differences
