The Social Services Impact Coordinator VISTA will help The Salvation Army update and streamline reporting for multiple programs at different locations to track our social service impact more effectively. Along with our Program Services Staff, you will take a deep dive into current reporting processes and techniques and assist in developing overall best practices. Your careful monitoring and training as we transition to more efficient systems will ensure accurate and expedient reporting, thereby building capacity to serve more families in need with the same resources. Perfect for those interested in program outcomes management, social services, and data tracking. Great for anyone interested in future nonprofit work, as The Salvation Army is a well-recognized and reputable international nonprofit organization. The Salvation Army is in 130+ countries and has representation in every zip code of the United States. Our mission is to serve all in need, without discrimination. In the DC Metro Area, we serve an average of 70,000 people a year through housing for young mothers, meal programs, youth and music activities, substance abuse treatment, rent and utility assistance, and more.
