About the Role
The Sourcing and Procurement Manager is a strategic team member with the ability to effectively drive the sourcing and procurement of goods and services for assigned projects. They will manage each part of the supply chain to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services while identifying possible obstacles that may affect the product/ service life cycle, budget, and project schedule.

Develop cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials, furniture and equipment used in projects

Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors

Evaluate spending trends while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries

Communicate with management regularly regarding the delivery of goods and services

Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks in support of the development of FF & E standards

Create and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and scalable

Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs and timelines

Communicate with vendors to ensure that products and services arrive in a timely fashion

Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials

Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency

Keep abreast of changing industry trends

A minimum 3-5 years experience as a Procurement or Sourcing Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or similar relevant fields

In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
