Site Reliability Engineer (Application Software)

SpaceX is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (Application Software) to operate and scale custom-built mission-critical software products for engineering, test, and launch.

Responsibilities

Deploy, upgrade, operate/maintain, and scale mission critical products and services
Manage underlying infrastructure as code and use modern observability tools
Collaborate with software engineers to create highly operable products
Improve the whole software development lifecycle of services
Practice sustainable incident response and provide end-user support
Focus on performance bottlenecks and improvement techniques

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience in site reliability or DevOps
Preferred: 5+ years of DevOps, site reliability engineering, or system administration experience
