We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lead Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial, administrative, and people functions. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling multiple tasks, highly organized, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Upload monthly bank statements, categorize transactions, and respond to financial queries.

  • Ensure contracts are up to date and initiate wire transfers.

  • Manage ACH, wire, and check transactions, ensuring our accounts are adequately funded.

  • Oversee card budgets, manage reimbursements, issue virtual cards, and oversee transactions.

  • Send contracts to international vendors and process monthly payments.

  • Oversee admin accounts on all software platforms, onboard and off-board employees.

  • Oversee payroll management and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.

  • File Sales & Use Tax returns quarterly, and manage franchise and income taxes.

  • Provide support on ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Support in miscellaneous operational tasks, including file management, employee support, preparing decks, managing internal information, and coordination.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, finance, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with financial software and tools (e.g., Brex, Ramp, Deel, Stripe).

  • Knowledge of tax filing and compliance processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience at an early-stage startup (Seed or Pre-Series A).
