We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position focuses on both the design and optimization of products and processes for DAC, ensuring that our processes and operations related to our proprietary technology are successful.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on design, development, and testing of products working closely within the engineering team to translate concepts into working prototypes and processes.
Collaborate with R&D scientists, designers, and other engineers hands-on to translate research findings into viable product solutions and improve existing designs.
Coordination and overall integration of technical activities for engineering projects.
Directly develop and implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meets urgent timelines.
Directly develop and implement testing procedures and prototypes to validate performance.
Implement state-of-the-art industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into product and process designs.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams at other sites to ensure smooth integration of new processes and technologies.
Monitor process performance metrics, conducting root cause analysis for any deviations.
Identify areas for process improvement through data analysis and implement solutions to reduce costs and waste.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
5+ years of hands-on experience in product/process engineering
Ability to be hands-on and accomplish tasks without delegating to direct reports.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Strong project management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in rapid prototyping
Hands-on welding experience
Experience in Solidworks or other design software
Experience with computational modeling and process simulation tools
Proficiency in process optimization techniques (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment: Must have flexibility to work longer schedules to complete necessary tasks. Ability to wear PPE especially while working with chemicals and hazardous materials.
