The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for assisting Compliance leadership in assuring compliance within the organization. The successful Coordinator will be a self-driven individual who possesses strong organization and communication skills and contributes to overall compliance in the organization

Monitor and coordinate responses for compliance related initiatives and non-standard processes

Research requirements for Private Investigator licenses

Monitor and submit registrations with applicable states and jurisdictions

Assist in the creation, review and maintenance of policies and procedures

Create and review legislative updates and client communication

Review and analysis of reports
-
Assist in the review and interpretation of regulations and laws which affect the employment screening industry, including but not limited to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, as well as to ensure internal processes are compliant with applicable domestic and international regulations and laws

Assist in the review and analysis of vendors
- Effectively troubleshoot and problem solve
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to management
- Evaluate and implement solutions based on management feedback

Ad hoc tasks and projects provided by management as needed

Manage competing priorities and deliver quality information and analysis while adhering to deadlines
- Develop knowledge and understanding of department functions

Performs in-depth and complex research, fact gathering, analysis and interpretation
- Prepare reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and clearly and concisely summarizing information
- Manages the organization’s licenses and registrations to ensure continue to comply with requirements and regulations

Enhance business processes by collecting and analyzing metrics to drive process improvement
- Establish, review and report on key metrics related to compliance-based services and performance

Education: Paralegal or Associate’s degree or equivalent degree or work experience. Emphasis on law, compliance administration, business administration, or audit is preferred.

Compliance, audit and FCRA experience required

Solid knowledge of FCRA required

Experience in background screening industry preferred

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task each day to meet schedule demands and complete tasks in a timely manner

Proven troubleshooting and problem solving
- Effective communication and presentation, including conflict resolution

Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge

Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks without direct supervision

Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines
- Basic computer skills, including strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce)
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $48750 - $70,000. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan.
