Job Title: Application Support EngineerLocation: Pittsburgh, PAJob SummaryJoin our dynamic team as an Application Support Engineer, where you'll be a key player in providing operational support for over 200 applications in the realm of Asset and Capital Finance Risk. You'll be part of an initiative that involves writing and adding new functions to a combination of applications impacting both internal and customer-facing facets of our client's operations.Job Responsibilities• Lead multi-functional teams during customer service disruptions, configuration management, new feature deployment, and new product implementations.• Perform code upgrades independently.• Master multiple subject matter areas of responsibilities.• Identify and document best practices within their subject matter areas of expertise.• Suggest continuous process improvements.• Maintain and document Standard Operating Procedures.Skills Required• Advanced troubleshooting in a mission-critical production environment.• IT Customer Service/Problem Management Resolution experience.• Experience analyzing code written in JAVA, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Angular.• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Big Panda.• Ability to write complex queries using ORACLE PL/SQL.• Strong understanding of risk controls and compliance standards.Education/Experience• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.• 6-8 years of relevant experience required.About SSiWith over 25 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
