Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities

Staffing/Scheduling
-
May utilize staffing technology to generate preliminary, daily and long-range staff assignments to meet department needs in accordance with staffing and scheduling guidelines.

May coordinate scheduling of agency staff as needed.

Tracks, updates, reviews and communicates changes daily for schedules.

May enter, update and reconcile timecards for accurate payroll processing.

Office support and management

Generates accurate and timely reports.

May schedule and track staffs required education and licenses.

May assist in the maintenance of employee information and files.

Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred

Post secondary education preferred

Basic Computer skills, including the knowledge and ability to use Windows, Word and Excel required and
-
Experience working in a fast-paced medical environment with the ability to identify priorities, work independently, problem solve and multi-task preferred
Physical Demands
Sedentary:
Lifting weight Up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
Additional Job Description:
May float between Mercy Hospital and Mercy-Unity campus. This position is a mixture of 8 or 12 hour shifts with various start times of 4am, 12pm, or 4pm. Schedules are posted ahead of time and may require every other or every third weekend.
