Job Profile Summary: Schedules and coordinates staff assignments to support patient needs in accordance with staffing and scheduling guidelines.
Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

• Staffing/Scheduling
  • May utilize staffing technology to generate preliminary, daily and long-range staff assignments to meet department needs in accordance with staffing and scheduling guidelines.
  • May coordinate scheduling of agency staff as needed.
  • Tracks, updates, reviews and communicates changes daily for schedules.
  • May enter, update and reconcile timecards for accurate payroll processing.
    
• Office support and management
  • Generates accurate and timely reports.
  • May schedule and track staffs required education and licenses.
  • May assist in the maintenance of employee information and files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred
• Post secondary education preferred
• Basic Computer skills, including the knowledge and ability to use Windows, Word and Excel required and
• Experience working in a fast-paced medical environment with the ability to identify priorities, work independently, problem solve and multi-task preferred

Physical Demands
Sedentary:
Lifting weight Up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently

Additional Job Description:

May float between Mercy Hospital and Mercy-Unity campus. This position is a mixture of 8 or 12 hour shifts with various start times of 4am, 12pm, or 4pm. Schedules are posted ahead of time and may require every other or every third weekend.
