Storekeeper #11(Tower) (Temporary)
Location: Tower Kitchen
Days Off: Saturday & Sunday
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours)
Hourly Rate: $20.23
Weekly Rate: $809.20
General Purpose:
The Storekeeper performs a variety of duties pertaining to supplies and food items, inventory, ordering, special events and deliveries, and the cleaning and sanitizing of pots and pans, catering equipment and other food service related equipment.
Primary Functions:
The primary responsibility of a Storekeeper is to provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times. Other responsibilities include the return of damaged items or other items that do not meet specifications. The Storekeeper fills orders, issues supplies from stock, and rotates stock and general cleaning of assigned work areas. The Storekeeper may be required to transport food or supplies to other departments using a hand truck or vehicle. Other responsibilities include the loading and unloading of the dish machine and the transfer of clean dishware to designated areas, washing pots and pans, removing trash and garbage to designated areas, assisting with special events, prep work and general cleaning. The Storekeeper is required to participate in other duties as assigned by manager or cook on duty. Lastly, must comply with all state and local food service regulations, including practicing ServSafe and NSF standards
Requirements:

Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Must be able to use chemicals required in daily cleaning.

Ability to read and comprehend Basic English required.

Valid MA Driver’s License.

Uniforms as furnished by department.

Hair Restraint as required in College-Union Agreement.

Meal Breaks as assigned by management
