Account Manager - Pharmaceutical Industry (Japan)

Substance is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to find an experienced Account Manager based in Japan. In this role, you’ll manage key accounts, foster strong client relationships, and ensure alignment with business goals in the healthcare sector.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to meet client objectives and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective solutions and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • University Degree or above
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Marketing or MSL or Key Account Marketing(KAM) experience is preferred.
  • Experience as a medical representative is preferred
  • High Interpersonal skills (Negotiation, Presentation, facilitation, questioning) and analytical, logical thinking skills
  • Fluency in Japanese

  • Exposure to international markets and the opportunity to work with a diverse team
