Substance Use Disorder Counselor

Odyssey House is seeking a Full-Time Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC)!

Job Location: Salt Lake City

Compensation: Negotiable (Based on Experience)

Licensure / Education / Prior Experience Required:

• Substance Use Disorder Counselor (LSUDC, or ASUDC). A certificate in substance use disorder counseling licensed through DOPL.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Must comply with annual TB tests, Flu, and other immunizations.
• Must meet employment eligibility.

• Must be able to work variable shifts as needed
• Oversee a caseload of up to 12 clients
• Update treatment plans and complete utilization reviews biweekly or monthly, depending on the level of care.
• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate group
• Complete documentation on the day of service

Physical Demands of the Job: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., drive (or adequate alternate transportation), sit for prolonged periods, and perform light to moderate activity at times. Able to passively restrain residents without likely injury to self due to existing medical condition.
