Summer Internship, Growth Intern - North America (US)

Spotify is looking for a Growth Intern to be part of our Growth Campaigns team and help us set up and launch user and subscriber growth campaigns. The purpose of the role is to deliver excellent digital user experiences to prospective and existing customers. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.


What you'll do


  • Create web pages and CRM messages (email, house advertisements, and app notifications) for a variety of North America Growth initiatives 
  • Develop and deploy content within digital marketing channels
  • Work with creative agency to deliver visuals and copy for the digital assets
  • QA assets to ensure compliance with company guidelines 
  • Set up targeting and reporting parameters for the CRM campaigns
  • Project manage your own work to prioritize tasks and reach deadlines on time
  • Work with North American Growth Leads to report out on results and troubleshoot any problems
  • Work closely with the Campaigns team to set up the campaign, also working with partner teams like R&D, Marketing Technology, Localization, User Growth, among others


Who you are


  • A current undergraduate or graduate student with a passion for Marketing and/or Business and planning to graduate in 2023
  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2023
  • A diligent organizer, able to interpret briefs and prioritize tasks across multiple projects
  • You are able to meet deadlines on technical projects together with a variety of stakeholders
  • Pay close attention to details, especially in marketing messages and targeting parameters
  • You have an ability to work with the creative side of a business and an appreciation of front end web and mobile design principles
  • A quick learner who can get up to speed on our internal platforms quickly 
  • Ability to adapt to evolving needs as the strategy develops 
  • Experience working with Google Sheets (or Excel) and Google Docs (or Microsoft Word)


Where you'll be


  • Where in the world? For this role, we expect that you can come into the NYC office at least a couple days a week. 


Our paid summer internships last for 10-12 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is March 31st, 2023 at 10AM EST.


The United States hourly rate for this position is 33.00 USD (Undergraduate First Year & Sophomores), 42.00 USD (Undergraduate Juniors & Seniors), 49.00 USD (Masters) & 58.00 USD (PhD) per hour plus a one time intern stipend of 2,253 USD. This position is overtime eligible. These rates may be modified in the future.
