Vice President, Finance

The Vice President will be a key member of Focus’s finance team, with immediate responsibilities for financial analysis, capital markets execution, debt investor relations, and ongoing performance reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors. The VP will own the company’s financial model and will interact regularly with the PE owners, and the broader finance and M&A teams to capture up-to-date changes in business performance and capital allocation decisions. The VP will support our efforts to raise capital, working closely with sponsors, syndicate banks, and ratings agencies.

 

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, with a strong background in investment banking / corporate finance.

 

This role can be based in NYC or Long Island, NY

 

Primary Responsibilities

·       Own and maintain the Company’s financial model which is reviewed in detail by CFO and updated routinely

·       Collaborate with sponsors to support valuation and capital structure decision-making

·       Lead financial modelling efforts for proposed transactions, including debt and equity offerings, and work with investment bankers and attorneys

·       Lead quarterly earnings preparation, including presentations, supporting materials and calculations, as well as other related items such as investor meetings and non-deal roadshows

·       Prepare marketing materials for lenders for future capital raises

·       Lead preparation of regular monthly / quarterly reporting to sponsors, senior management and the Board

·       Serve as interface between the finance teams at the Company and its operating divisions

 

Qualifications

·       At least 5+ years of relevant Investment Banking and/or Corporate Finance experience

·       Fluency in financial statement analysis and strong analytical skills is a must

·       Excellent communication and organizational skills, including advanced Excel / financial modeling skills and experience with PowerPoint presentations

·       Experience in debt capital transactions is a plus

·       Familiarity with the financial services industry

·       Bachelor's degree required

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $150,000 - $225,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
