Supervisor Production - Dispatch

Responsibilities:

Purpose and Summary of position:

Develop and maintain daily work processes to achieve flawless daily execution
Ensure that daily loading and shipping operation is coordinated in a manner to support Stewardship, Quality, and Reliability objectives.
Field presence, safety focus and leader of the team, knowledge provider, decision maker after the team completes troubleshooting effort, work order notification owner for the team
Conduct behavior based observation, life critical audits and employee engagement activities
Drives consistent and proactive improvement performance
Review daily KPIs and gaps with team. Assigns PPR to resolve gaps.
Ensures effective Conduct of Operations system in place for flawless daily execution
Serve as the Barge Dock Facility Security Officer
Point of contact with US Coast Guard for Barge Dock activities/inspections
Point of Contact for DOT-Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
MOC focal point
Serve as the Bay City Transportation Emergency Response Team (TERT) representative
Point of Contact for Site Partners for all things Loading and Shipping related
Provide daily guidance to onsite Loading Contractors
Direct Manager for Railcar Switching personnel
Participates in Shipping PHAs, assists with implementation of recommendations
Represents Shipping Department on Site Leadership Team

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Motivates others to achieve core principles
Drives Engagement and Ownership throughout the Shipping organization
Understands and manages Shipping area needs, strategy, and objectives
Decision making
Field experience in an industrial setting
Root Cause Analysis skills
Working knowledge of loading and shipping activities a plus

Required Years' Experience:

8 years + experience in Chemical Plant or Refinery.

Required Education:

Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
