Primary Functions:

The Supplier Services Specialist is responsible for processing all new supplier set-up and update requests from Operations across all BNSF Logistics offices and maintaining eligible carriers within all operating systems. Specific duties include reviewing supplier qualifications to ensure they meet BNSF Logistics standards, data entry of insurance updates and supplier profile information, and other related tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

A highly effective Supplier Services Specialist has general knowledge of the logistics industry and is familiar with contractual documents pertaining to services providers in the United States.

Position Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

• High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative etc.
• 12+ months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
