Salary: $100,000/yr


Job Summary: 


This is a key position which carries a high level of responsibility and authority. The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader who will inspire and harmonize the sales team.  The Director of sales enablement must  have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that motivates a team to overachieve and outperform results.

This position requires working closely with the sales and marketing teams in a highly collaborative environment.  This is a new role within SupportNinja but we require someone who has previously managed a global sales team.


What does a day in the life of a Sales Enablement Director look like?
  • Sales Enablement:
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with necessary tools, resources, and training to succeed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and optimize sales enablement materials.
  • Regularly assess and refine sales processes to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
  • Drive initiatives to improve SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) conversion rates and boost revenue.

  • Sales Coaching:
  • Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to our sales team to improve sales craft.
  • Evaluate and enhance sales scripts, follow-up sequences, and pitch decks.
  • Identify opportunities for skill development and conduct targeted training sessions.
  • Listen to sales call and provide feedback and coaching 
  • Monitor sales communications (emails, follow ups, voicemails) and provide feedback and coaching 
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and excellence within the sales team.

  • Nurturing Previous Closed/Lost Opportunities:
  • Implement strategies to re-engage with previously lost opportunities and convert them into new business.
  • Craft personalized outreach and nurture scripts for BDEs to reconnect with lost prospects.
  • Analyze reasons for previous losses and implement corrective actions to mitigate future losses.
  • Continuously monitor and refine nurturing efforts to maximize re-engagement success.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Increase SQL conversion rate by 10-20% through sales enablement and coaching efforts.
  • Improve SQL generation through optimized outbound campaigns (including outbound vendors)


What are the required qualifications of a Sales Enablement Director?
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, sales enablement, coaching, and prospecting roles, with experience both as an individual contributor and as a sales team manager.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) and other sales enablement tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for developing and motivating sales teams.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team is critical.
  • BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) experience strongly preferred.
  • Positive attitude, good work ethic, and highly self-motivated.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a creative approach to selling.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and motivate at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and influence and persuade effectively.
  • High level of empathy and curiosity.
  • Passion for selling and driving results.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Creative, innovative, and adept at problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to embrace change and learn new sales techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, well-organized, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to taking initiative.
