Why this position?This position will support Notre Dame Surplus Operations. Daily responsibilities include assistance with campus pickups and deliveries; processing of inventory items (used furniture, electronics, IT equipment, etc) received for redistribution, resale, or recycling; use of Lightspeed POS (inventory management and sales) program, Blanco (computer scrubbing) program, and GovDeals (live auction) website; testing of computers and electronics; customer service assistance with university department contact transactions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Job requirements include
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Heavy lifting, use of a two-wheeled cart, pallet jack, and a variety of hand tools.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must possess basic computer knowledge, ability to read and write.
- Effective interpersonal communications skills.
- Excellent customer service is essential.
- Will follow daily work instructions and often work in tandem with other staff, but must also be able to work independently without supervision.
- Must be motivated and team-oriented.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
