Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP, Statement Strategy and Process Design Leader is responsible for creating the vision for the newly established L3 statement strategy and process, reporting into the SVP, Marketing Activation Leader. This role is accountable for enterprise-wide strategy and process design, which involves understanding and collaborating with other L3 processes related to statements across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
Develop the vision for Statement Strategy and Process Design through the L3 process structure. The vision will encompass shaping strategy decisions and initiatives to customer billing delivery experience from acquisitions through lifecycle.
Provide strategic and tactical program leadership for the new L3 process, along with oversight of the cross-functional L3 teams involved with billings statements, to ensure an enterprise-wide understanding of key preventative and detective controls related to statement creation, delivery, and accuracy.
Coordinate with process and control owners in the following areas:
Statement Production and Delivery (Operations)
Digital Service Platforms and Capabilities (Growth)
Digital Apply (Growth)
Engineering (Technology)
Credit Products Platform Configuration – CSS (Technology)
Statement Content (Growth)
Develop and maintain cross-functional operating rhythms to understand the change management, and aggregate the overall statement risk around statement, both paper and electronic via issue/incident trends, complaints, front line trigger management reporting, root cause analysis, and oversight of action plans.
Establish, measure and report on key KPIs in partnership across the functions including the Operations, Tech, Growth, Analytics, and Risk
Act as a subject matter expert on statement billing best practices to inform roadmaps both from a customer experience and risk perspective with a focus on ensuring strong preventative and detective controls.
Understand risks associated with billing statements and provide governance support and guidance across all L3s related to statements to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory compliance and to ensure that as issues arise, controls are being reviewed across the enterprise, as applicable.
Maintain an understanding of best practices for preventive and detective controls to strengthen and create consistency of control deployment. Work cross functionally to resolve Billing statement issues that span across multiple L3’s.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree high school diploma/GED and 12+ years of experience in Financial Services or Marketing Technology
7+ years of experience in implementing and integrating scaled and compliant enterprise processes that have direct to consumer touchpoints.
Experience working with technical teams and/or guiding the creation and implementation of scaled enterprise solutions
Desired Characteristics:
Experience in the consumer financial services including credit cards and installment loans
Track record of creative problem solving and ability to thrive in a cross-functional and virtual environment
Proven process skills, including a demonstrated ability to drive change
Resourceful , creative, independent, ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work well in a team environment and to effectively interact with senior management and the Sales/Product organization.
High energy, self-motivated, with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Grade/Level: 14
The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
