Systems & Analytics Specialist

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree. Degree in data modeling, analytics, applied mathematics and statistics, computer science, or an engineering equivalent required.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position:

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an opening for a full-time, salaried position as a Systems & Analytics Specialist supporting our Human Resources Organization.

Position Objectives:

Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data from various sources such as employee surveys, performance evaluations, recruitment metrics, compensation data, and HR systems. Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to provide meaningful insights into HR metrics and workforce trends.
Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate key HR metrics, trends, and progress towards HR goals. Ensure data accuracy, relevance, and timeliness in all reporting activities.
Predictive Analytics: Utilize statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast future HR trends, attrition rates, and employee performance. Leverage data-driven insights to identify potential risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the HR function.
HR Strategy Support: Collaborate with HR leaders and stakeholders to provide analytical support for strategic HR initiatives. Translate complex HR data into actionable recommendations to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
Data Integrity and Compliance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant privacy regulations and HR policies. Develop and implement data governance practices to maintain high-quality HR data and protect sensitive employee information.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and advancements in HR analytics. Identify opportunities to enhance HR data collection methods, reporting tools, and analytical techniques to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the HR function.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, and Business Intelligence, to ensure alignment of HR analytics initiatives with overall organizational goals. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

What sets you apart:

Proven experience as an Analytics Specialist, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the HR domain.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex HR data.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics techniques.
Experience with HR information systems (HRIS), data visualization tools (preferably Power BI), and advanced Excel functions.

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Combined Salary Range: USD $70,400.00 - USD $76,200.00 /Yr. Company Overview:
