Overview

As needed, you will be onsite at our NYC office. The Systems Engineer III manages AbleTo's systems and networks. They design new system architecture, monitor and maintain computer networks, troubleshoot and resolve system errors and inefficiencies, and ensure the computer systems run smoothly and effectively. They also train junior Systems Engineers. This is a Hybrid role position. As needed, you will work onsite at our NYC office.

What You'll Do:

• Support the ongoing development and maintenance of our Information Technology Operations.
• Responsible for work encompassing information technology (IT) applications and infrastructure systems across AbleTo.
• Gather business requirements, conduct needs assessments, develop functional specifications and build to ensure that developed IT applications solutions support business objectives.
• Maintains the organization's IT infrastructure, including Cloud Architecture, software, servers, storage solutions, networks, and physical facilities. Possesses solid knowledge of the subject matter.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to level I System Engineers.
• SME on our core systems, their integrations, and dependencies.
• Regularly review current system configurations and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Review requirements and execute the necessary workflow and enhancement changes within the following key systems:
• Jira System Administration (ITSM)
• Intune (PC Management)
• Jamf (Mac Management)
• Tanium (Secure Endpoints)
• CrowdStrike (Firewall)
• Cisco Umbrella (Cloud Security)
• Netskope (Cloud Security)
• Manage Engine Administration
• Slack, Zoom, and Confluence (Collaboration Tools)
• Secure File Transfer protocols, SFTP, HTTPS, etc.
• Future systems TBD
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining application environment stability.
• Act as an escalation point for Service Operations where there is a need to escalate to L3 and for problems pertaining to IT technology with a view to re-engineering.
• Lead projects, in conjunction with Senior and Lead engineers overseeing the successful release and transition of new IT services into support, meeting the team s service acceptance criteria.
• Participate in security initiatives, including access control and vulnerability testing.
• Maintain and improve existing build and deployment processes.

Who You Are:

• You are able to work onsite at our NYC location
• You have 5+ years of experience working with AzureAD, Powershell, Scripting, and SaaS solutions.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree (ideally in Technology or Networking) or equivalent work experience.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Google Workspace (Google Gsuite Administration, Docs, Sheets, Drive), Google Cloud GCP, and Windows Server/OS.
• You have 1+ years of experience working with Jira as a System Administrator.
• Technical expertise in creating & troubleshooting various workflows & integrations between SaaS solutions.
• Technical expertise with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage technical projects within a team environment to advance the greater team goals.
• A can-do, positive attitude.
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies and applications on your own to support the needs of the business.
• Skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating complex information.
• Outstanding communication skills and proficiency in interpreting results and formulating recommendations/action plans.
