About the role
As a System SecOps Administrator, you will have experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments including the installation and maintenance of both Windows/Linux operating systems and have an understanding of core services that run on each OS. You should also have an understanding of network technologies as well as Linux and Windows security features. Your responsibilities will include working with our Information Security team, acting as the liaison between InfoSec and Bullhorn technical operations. Ideal candidates will also have a good understanding of systems security best practices, experience with Cisco Nexus switching platforms, Palo Alto firewall administration, and experience with KVM, VMWare, and Kubernetes.

A typical day will include...

  • Installation and maintenance of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • SOC audit reports relating to systems, network and user access
  • Maintaining Bullhorn’s standard SLA for network uptime at 99.95%
  • Liaison between InfoSec/Compliance and Bullhorn Technical Operations
  • Support of Linux/Windows systems running internal tools
  • Network management of Cisco NX/ IOS switches, routers, and wireless controllers/APs
  • PA/Netgate Firewall administration
  • Infrastructure - Installation of new hardware
  • Maintaining datacenter hardware while supporting system and network admins/engineers
  • High level support for trouble isolation within a datacenter and office network environments
  • Working with vendors on new turn-ups, maintenance, or trouble isolation
  • Vendor RMA of faulty equipment
  • Maintaining data center and office inventory including DC spares depot

This role is a fit for you if…

  • You have 2+ years of supporting Linux and Windows environments
  • You have 1+ year of firewall administration support
  • You have an understanding of basic networking technologies
  • You have experience with server and or network infrastructure support
