Job description: 
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and management of the technology to improve business collaboration and efficiency of working. This is a wide reaching role the extends from the end customer device all the way into the cloud leveraging the Microsoft M365 suite. In this role you will work closely with IT and Business teams to optimise platform performance and implement new features and applications which align with the organisation's business objectives. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the client operating system, the M365 technology stack as well as supporting cloud technologies. 

What you will be doing:

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams within IT and across the business to understand business requirements and implement corresponding solutions. 

• Design, implement and manage workplace technology solutions to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the business. 

• Implement and manage solutions to provide secure access to business systems and applications hosted on premise and in the cloud. 

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT assets, configurations and software licensing to ensure licensing compliance. 

• Maintain and enhance security posture across the Andretti estate, applying security patches and updates harden the attack surface and improve the stability of business systems. 

• Creation of department Policies and Procedures and educating peers to best practice methodology. 

• Keeping abreast of emerging and technology trends, recommending solutions to improve customer experience and efficiency. 

• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems (both client and servers) as well as theM365 application suite. 

• Relevant certification (Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator) is an advantage. 

• Highly proficient in the use of Active Directory, Entra, Group Policy and Intune for account management and configuration deployment. 

• Highly experienced within the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online , Teams, OneDrive, Intune and Sharepoint OnLine. 

• Highly experienced in the creation and application of Conditional Access Policies, Enterprise Application registration and external identity management within Entra. 

• Proficient with Microsoft Endpoint Manager for managing and securing devices and enforcing compliance. 

• Highly experienced in PowerShell scripting and task automation to aid system administration tasks and effective management of Microsoft products. 

• Highly experienced in the deployment of security patches and updates to varying devices across the Andretti estate. 

• Highly Experienced in the deployment of secure operating systems and platfoms, working to industry recognised best practice guidelines. 

• Excellent understanding of network, server and cloud technologies and the reliance upon each to delivery business applications. 

• Firm understanding of ITIL based service management. 
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills both verbally and digitally. 

• Confident addressing audiences (leading training sessions / workshops) . 

• Excellent analytical skills and proven experience of fault finding and problem solving. 

• Ability to prioritise workloads in a time pressured environment and manage project deadlines. 

• Demonstrate a passion for technology and a desire to help people.
