What we want
The Senior Research Associate performs independent research activities requiring an advanced level of knowledge in a field of science or learning and required consistent use of discretion and judgment. The Senior Research Associate will be involved in assisting postdocs and graduate students research projects. This position will be responsible for animal related work.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Four years of related experience with mice work
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in biomedical research or relevant field
Experience with performing biomedical related lab work
Responsibilities
Research Experiments: Conduct mouse-base studies. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques of routine and non-standard research, keeping detailed records of data. Perform surgeries for mice as a preclinical model for cardiovascular disease. Uses computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical evaluation of research experiments and results. Evaluates and summarizes experiment results.
Research Procedures: Maintains rodent colonies; administer treatment; monitor treatment responses; conducts rodent-based studies, such as biopsy, tissue harvesting, and treatment.
Data Analysis: Prepares data for analysis and prepares samples. Obtains original research results. Organizes and maintains inventory and equipment used in the lab.
