Working on the Platform Department

We are looking for a seasoned Data Analyst to join our Platform Department and empower us to make smarter, data-driven decisions. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap for non-technical teams, helping them gain deeper insights into our customers.

You’ll collaborate with a skilled team of engineers, researchers, designers, and product professionals to design and implement key components of our product and platform—making a meaningful impact on the lives of Americans through food.

What You'll Get to Do

Ownership: Own our metrics, reporting, and data visualization tools.
Leadership: Work with key stakeholders to understand the business and design reports and dashboards that allow our data to tell a story.
Velocity: Quickly turn business questions into data visualizations that can be scalable throughout the organization.
Quality: Attention to detail and a constant ability to question the data and improve data integrity.
Communication: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work closely across teams, time zones, and dependencies.
Impact: Demonstrate sound business judgment and proven ability to influence others and make excellent business and technical decisions.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

7+ years of experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
A customer-first mindset, ensuring the end-user is at the center of every decision.
A customer-centric approach to product development, focusing on creating robust, scalable, accessible, and user-friendly solutions.
0-to-1 experience, with a strong inclination toward shipping quickly, learning iteratively, and maintaining a high standard of quality.
A proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams and partners.

Preferred Skills for Strong Candidates

Data pipelines.
Running migrations and data backfills.
