Tax Analyst

KUKA Systems is looking for a Tax Analyst. Ideal candidates has a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with experience with Sales Tax, Vertex, SAP and Microsoft Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Exemption Documentation

• Review sales by customers to determine applicable taxing jurisdiction and work with Project Controllers to obtain exemption documentation from customers.
• Issue exemption certificates to vendors if the requirements for industrial processing are met.

Compliance

• Reconcile Vertex journal to GL for sales tax filings.
• Extract GL data to use in preparation of use tax filings.
• Provide Vertex with monthly sales tax data
• Review sales tax returns for accuracy before filing
• Prepare monthly funding requests for sales tax payments

Other

• Responding to ad hoc requests
• Assisting in sales and use tax audits
• Advising on taxability of products and services
• Preparation of state and local registrations

Preferred Experience / Skills / Education:

• Bachelor's degree - Accounting/Finance/Business Administration
• Sales Tax experience

Experience with the following Software is Preferred:

• Microsoft Office Products, Vertex and SAP

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
