Technical Product Manager, Identity

The role

Millions of people choose Hopin to attend digital events. Our goal is to make them feel closer, and no authentication issue should ever be in the way. As a Product Manager for Identity, you will be responsible for making our identity ecosystem up to the challenge.

In this role, you will use your expertise to build an even stronger and more secure Identity platform for our suite of products. You will promote scale and innovation, and partner with engineers, designers, and analysts to have the biggest impact possible.

You will

  • Make an impact across teams. You will help the team focus on work that matters by understanding customer use cases, combining data with anecdotes, and ensuring a shared understanding of the opportunities and challenges our users and partnering teams face.
  • Invent on behalf of our customers. You will take our users’ needs at heart and use your insight and expertise to keep our Identity and Access Management platform safe, secure, and simple.
  • Run your product like a business. Lead the product roadmap from start to finish, define customer segments, critical metrics, and an execution plan to bring your strategy to life.
  • Bring long-term vision. Your strategy will ensure performance and scale, but also innovation. Build a roadmap that will drive the health of your product by balancing new features with maintenance and technical debt.


You have

  • Extensive experience in product management. You have years of experience leading product strategies, and a few successful products were shipped under your lead. Ideally, at least some of work was with tech companies or for tech products.
  • Desire for impact. The idea of owning initiatives impacting multiple products and business areas fills you with excitement. Responsibility and potential don’t scare you, and you would jump at the opportunity of driving the strategy for sophisticated products.
  • Data-driven decision making. You enjoy querying data and have a track record of using data to back up assumptions, A/B test alternatives, and measure the impact of your initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills. You can convey complex requirements concisely, communicate progress and issues successfully, and influence without hierarchy.
  • Customer champion approach. You’re well aware of market needs and how to met them, but you also know how to make features improving customer experience versus time-to-market trade-offs.
  • Location. You're based in one of our eligible countries, within the GMT+2 and GMT-4 time zones.


Bonus points

  • You’re familiar with Identity. You have experience designing and implementing IAM products, SSO solutions, or authorization workflows
  • You have a technical background. A degree in Computer Science, experience as a software engineer, or a strong track record leading strategies for technical products will help you be comfortable in the role.
